Administrator/ Bookkeeper

We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity to join Leka Solicitors, a newly established and forward-thinking law firm based in London, specialising in Personal and Business Immigration, Repossession and Landlord and Tenant matters.

As part of our expansion, we are seeking a talented and highly motivated Administrator/Bookkeeper to join our team.

This is a dual role ideal for someone with strong administrative and financial skills, looking to make a meaningful contribution in a small team environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for both general administration and bookkeeping tasks, ensuring the smooth and compliant running of the practice.

The role will be roughly split as follows:

  • 60% Administrative support

  • 40% Bookkeeping/financial support

This could vary on a day-to-day basis.

Administrative Duties:

  • Open and close files on Leap

  • Drafting and sending out client care letters and closing letters

  • Diary and meeting management

  • Represent the firm to clients, courts and Chambers in a professional and courteous manner

  • Manage the office post, DX, printing, scanning

  • Assist fee earners with urgent support requests in a timely manner

  • Bookkeeping tasks

  • Familiarity with SRA Accounts Rules is advantageous

About You:

  • 2+ years of experience in administration and bookkeeping in a legal environment

    Proficiency in Xero, LEAP and Microsoft

  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality

  • Great time management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Salary of £26,000 to £33,000 depending on experience
